I am an illustrator based in Melbourne, Australia working in dip pen and ink, pencil and charcoal.
In the ‘90s I worked in Melbourne’s 2D animation industry on short films, ads and TV shows including Li’l Elvis Jones and the Truckstoppers. In 1998 I graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts with a Post Graduate Diploma of Film & TV (Animation), then went on to teach character animation at Ngee Ann Polytechnic in Singapore. I work on book and magazine editorial, t-shirt design and character development. I love designing interesting characters, weird masks and helmets, sci-fi and fantasy figures, and swashbucklers of all kinds, and am currently working on commissions including life drawings and fencing figures. In 2018, I illustrated and designed Ask for the Moon, a history of Hong Kong moviemaking legends Shaw Brothers.
