Steve Tierney

Steve Tierney is an Australian illustrator and designer with a passion for old movie posters, cigarette packaging, vintage books and Mexico.

He has a flexible illustration style which includes digital Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop image making, mixed media paintings, character portraits, and print making techniques such as silkscreen and lino cut.

He has been commissioned by a diverse range of clients, including Amnesty International and UN Women, as well as editorial titles such as Rolling Stone and YEN magazine.

In addition to freelance illustration work, Steve has held solo and group exhibits of his art and paintings in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Tokyo.

While continuing to work for commercial clients locally and internationally, he also teaches art and skateboarding to youth as a volunteer.
