Hi there! I'm an illustrator from the Mid North Coast of Australia specialising in wildlife, pet portraits and children's illustration. Growing up I would spend hours flipping through the pages of Bill Cooper’s ‘Parrots of the World’ and the detailed works of Graeme Base, captivated by the perfect details and intricacies in each illustration. I graduated from Newcastle University in 2007 with a degree in Natural History Illustration and have collaborated on projects with the Newcastle Museum, The Banff Centre (Canada) and outdoor clothing company Patagonia.
Working predominantly in colour pencil and graphite, and drawing inspiration from the natural environment, I love building up the layers of detail in my illustrations, creating something that is both playful and intricate.
