Paul Tippett is a freelance illustrator and designer from Melbourne, Australia.
What started off as constant scribbling in the borders of his schoolbooks has developed into an obsession with illustration and storytelling. He graduated from Swinburne University with an honours degree in Multimedia design, and got his first taste of the animation and publishing industry with a job at Kyla May Productions. Here Paul contributed illustrations to The Dog Rules and Lotus Lane (Scholastic US), solely illustrated books 9 and 10 of Star Girl (Pan Macmillan), and solely illustrated books 1 – 8 of Juliet Nearly a Vet (Penguin Publishing).
Most recently Paul worked with publisher Allen & Unwin to illustrate David Astle's Gargantuan book of words.
Paul has also been a designer on various television series that include: Fleabitten, SheZow, The Shapes and was a designer on season 01 and design lead on season 02 of The day my butt went psycho! A co-production between Studio Moshi and Nelvana.
