Matt Huynh

I’m a Sydney born and bred illustrator and comic creator. I was named a Creative Sydney Creative Catalyst. I was also lucky enough to be the inaugural Design NSW Travelling Scholarship recipient. I’ve had a short comic shortlisted recently for the Lord Mayor’s Creative Writing Awards.

I love Steinbeck’s writing, Rimbaud’s free verse and Joni Mitchell’s chords of inquiry. My favourite tool is ink with both sable and traditional Chinese calligraphy brushes. I love drawing with charcoal, and also love to paint.
