Margeaux Davis

My name is Margeaux Davis. I illustrate children’s picture books using watercolour, pencil, pen and paper. 

I have illustrated two children’s picture books; ‘Goose at the Gate’ and ‘Kingdom of Rooms’ (written by M. J. Gibbs), and have another in the works. I also work on illustration commissions for clients and sell my own prints and art cards via my website.

My professional background is in environmental education, and I particularly enjoy illustrating animals, plants and natural landscapes. As well as drawing and painting, I also design and sew soft toys under the name Willowynn.

I work from a tiny backyard studio, on the north coast of New South Wales, surrounded by macadamia nut farms and cow paddocks.
