Carolyn Ridsdale

Carolyn Ridsdale (1966) began making her distinctive     photographic collages in 1994.
 
Ridsdale takes elements from the printed matter around us, re-arranges them and feeds them back into the same medium, giving a constant contemporary feel to her images. She is well known for bringing a humorous twist to even the driest of subjects and for both illuminating and illustrating the text with original and intelligent insights of her own.

Her clients include Saatchi and Saatchi, Heineken, the Financial Times (Holland), Telecom, KLM, Law Society Journal
the Belgian government, Psychologie, Nuon and the Readers Digest as well as numerous Dutch magazines and newspapers. She is currently working on a series of schoolbook covers
for Noordhoff which will be distributed within primary schools all over the Netherlands.

Carolyn Ridsdale is an Australian artist dividing her time between Amsterdam and Sydney.
