Membership Levels/Prices

ALL MEMBERSHIPS ARE SUBJECT TO APPROVAL OF ONLINE APPLICATION, Payments accepted only after approval.
You must be an Australian citizen living overseas or a permanent resident of Australia to be a member of IA

MEMBERSHIPS CAN TAKE UP TO 3 WEEKS FOR THE REVIEWING PROCESS

Annual Membership Fees (10%/GST inclusive in Australia):

* Full membership – $192.50 (AUD) per year (plus a one off joining fee of $20 applies)
For professional & practicing illustrators that want to promote themselves by having a portfolio page on IA site, including images.
Ideally should be published already
Must have ABN (Australian Business Number)

* Associate membership – $165.00 (AUD) per year
For those associated/affiliated with the illustration/design industry that don’t require images on the site but do want other IA benefits – (excludes images & participating in the IA Source Book, non-participation in IA exhibitions)
Eg. Artists or associates not of professional standing but interested in the industry, just getting started in illustration, are hobbyists, educators of illustration/design

* Student membership – $93.50 (AUD) per year
For current students (ID card required) and those in first year after graduation
A good chance to learn about the industry while getting your portfolio ready for professional promotion –
(excludes images & participating in the IA Source Book, restricted participation in IA exhibitions)

Preferred method of payment is Direct Deposit
Also acceptable Cheque/Money order or Paypal (use office email address)

*Note:* Membership does not give you the right to use the Illustrators Australia name or initials in any manner other than as a description e.g. “I am a professional member of Illustrators Australia (IA)”
