The Bachelor of Illustration at Melbourne Polytechnic is unique in Australia. The program is located in the picturesque surrounds of Melbourne Polytechnics Fairfield campus. It is designed for those who wish to develop their illustration skills through practice and research. These skills are applied through an engagement with the contemporary visual culture and creative arts industries.
In addition to providing a grounding in traditional studies and materials, the course provides the opportunity to apply acquired skills to industries such as commercial illustration, film and motion graphics, illustration based design and new media. The course also supports personal creative endeavours and collaborative involvement with public & community projects.
