It's that time of year again for the annual Illustrators Australia 9x5 exhibition! Each year every IA member is sent a piece of wood - measuring 9 x 5 inches - and with it they are given a mission to interpret a given theme. This year the theme is "Rapture".
Each work is available for sale for $195, unless sold or withdrawn from sale by the artist. Pieces were originally sold via a silent auction on October 14 2011 @ Space 39, 39 Little Collins St, Melbourne, Australia, as well as during the weekend of October 15 - 16. If you are interested in a piece, please contact office@illustratorsaustralia.com asap.
There is a People's Choice Award which is a $100 voucher from Art Spectrum for the main category and a set of 3 DVDs from Madman for the Student category. The winner will be decided by votes cast by attendees at Space 39,as well as web voting which has now closed. Winners announced next week!
